Project Scope
Axis was hired by Six Bridges Brewing to convert a former warehouse/office in John’s Creek to a 10-barrel brewery with a tasting room and event space. The 11,679 square feet of space required for the new brewery was carved out of the existing 31,820 SF building. The resulting 5,000-barrel-per-year brewery features a 7,000 SF production area (eight fermentation tanks), 1,800 SF tasting room, 1,500 SF accessory storage area/mechanical rooms, office space, new restrooms, and an outdoor patio.
The front elevation was modified to accommodate a new entrance into the brewery. The brewery’s personality is showcased with decor that is rustic and has a warehouse charm. The brewery, a new venture for the City of John’s Creek, required new zoning to be adopted by the mayor and city council.
