Axis Infrastructure’s Planning and Architecture team prepared a site and envelope analysis for a potential mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Punta Gorda. The analysis considered several factors including sun patterns, prevailing winds, noise disturbances, traffic patterns, nearby land uses and market conditions. The primary goal of the project was to the feasibility of various options up to a maximum buildout of the site. The team developed several building envelope options that included various anchors and mixture of retail, office, and residential uses, along with associated parking structures and accessibility considerations.
