Axis was hired by Planning Interiors, Inc. to design a new healthcare administration office space for Oakhurst Medical Center. The project involved renovating a one-story, wood-framed, 7,300 SF building with crawlspace in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

The project involved the demolition of interior walls and roof framing, the design of a new roof and interior load-bearing wood wall system, new roof drainage plans for new roof framing, new crawlspace framing to align with load-bearing wall orientation, and the analysis of the impact on the existing foundation slab at the crawlspace slab.
