Axis conducted site assessments of the existing landscape conditions at the 26 libraries within DeKalb County, GA. The scope included two phases: (1) the development of a maintenance program, specifications for landscape companies to maintain and upkeep the properties, and a training component for DeKalb County staff and vendors; (2)  developing an educational outreach program for the public on the landscape improvements which were performed to ensure a vibrant and bountiful landscape that focuses on fruit producing and pollinating plants with three key elements: water conservation, soil health and biodiversity. The information will be presented in the form of site signage and kiosks and will be bilingual (English and Spanish).
