Under an on-call contract with DeKalb County, Axis provided ADA assessment and design services for numerous facilities including: the Voter Registration building, the old and new Courthouse buildings, the Courthouse parking facility, and the Robert T. “Bobby” Burgess Building which includes the Police Services Department and Recorders Court. These ADA services involve all aspects of the building and/or site to ensure accessibility compliance. For example, Axis coordinated with various construction managers and led a team coordinating field surveys around courthouse with holding cell restrictions, inspection reports, and remediation pricing.
