Axis designed a new facility for Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte County, in Englewood, Florida. The facility will serve youth from kindergarten through high school. Key design features include a technology center, game room, multi-purpose classrooms, library/learning center, restrooms, kitchen, recreation room, art studio, cafe, and outdoor space containing a multipurpose sports court, playground, gardens. The facility sees approximately 80 children per day to over 170 at peak times (summer). The facility footprint is 13,400 SF (combined first and second floors). Construction funding is being raised this year for an anticipated 2024 ground break. The design has been used for the Club’s capital fundraising effort.
